Marriage*His first marriage was to Mary Magdaline Julius on 11 November 1844 at Pittsylvania Co., Virginia. My preliminary research suggests their children were John William (c1846- ), Charles Beverly (c1848- ), Josiah C Jr (1849- ), Eva Ann (1851-1914, m. Joseph Hamilton Lovelace 1852), Robert (c1854- ) and George Gilmore Reynolds (c1856- , m. Blanche C Martin).3 
Marriage*His second marriage was to Amanda Virginia Blair, daughter of Samuel Brittain Blair Sr. and Mary S. "Polly" Reynolds, on 21 March 1861 at Pittsylvania Co., Virginia.4,5,2 
Census1870*Josiah and Amanda appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Subdivision north of Dan River, Pittsylvania Co., Virginia, enumerated 1 August 1870, as 53 yo Josiah & 40 yo Virginia Reynolds. Their children James S. and Norah E. were listed as living with them. There are also four kids from Josiah's first marriage in the home: namely, 21 yo Josiah C, 19 yo Eva Ann, 16 yo Robert, and 15 yo George G Reynolds.6 
Census1880Josiah and Amanda appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Tunstall Magisterial Dist., Pittsylvania Co., Virginia, enumerated 14 June 1880, as 53 yo Josiah and 53 yo A V Reynolds. Their children James S. and Norah E. were listed as living with them. Also in the home was 25 yo E A Reynolds (likely Eva Ann from Josiah's m1.)7 
Death*Josiah died on 24 February 1891 in Pittsylvania Co., Virginia, at age 74.1 
Burial*He was buried at Lovelace Cemetery in Mount Hermon, Pittsylvania Co., Virginia.1

Marriage*He married Nancy Sophronia Blair, daughter of Samuel Brittain Blair Sr. and Clarissa W. "Clary" Fuller, on 20 October 1851 in Pittsylvania Co., Virginia, date estimated.4,5,1 
Census1860*William and Nancy appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Northern Div., Rockingham Co., North Carolina, enumerated 20 June 1860, as 30 yo farmer William & 25 yo Nancy S Suttle. Their children Frances Ann, Martha Ellen and Mary Alice were listed as living with them. The census page is very faint and I'm relying on transcription for info.6

"On May 24, 1861, when the Booker brothers were 21, they enlisted in Company D of the 38th Virginia Infantry in Whitmell. By August of 1861, James was promoted to corporal, and both brothers became sergeants sometime before April, 1864 (Gregory, 82). In March of 1862, James was hospitalized in Richmond with chronic diarrhea, but returned to his company soon after. Both brothers were severely wounded at the Battle of Drewry's Bluff on May 16, 1864: John received a chest wound and James was wounded in the right thigh. Only James, however, would survive. John died of his wound on August 26, 1864".8,9

Milit-Service*Sgt. John Booker served with Company D, 38th (Pittyslvania) Regiment, Virginia Infantry, CSA during the Civil War enlisting 24 May 1861. The Booker entry reads as follows:
"On May 24, 1861, when the Booker brothers were 21, they enlisted in Company D of the 38th Virginia Infantry in Whitmell. By August of 1861, James was promoted to corporal, and both brothers became sergeants sometime before April, 1864 (Gregory, 82). In March of 1862, James was hospitalized in Richmond with chronic diarrhea, but returned to his company soon after. Both brothers were severely wounded at the Battle of Drewry's Bluff on May 16, 1864: John received a chest wound and James was wounded in the right thigh. Only James, however, would survive. John died of his wound on August 26, 1864".6,7 
Death*John died on 26 August 1864 at age 23.2 
Burial*He was buried at Booker Cemetery in Danville, Virginia. Short bio but no eadstone photo available at Find A Grave.8

Marriage*She married James Jackson Dallas, son of Meredith Dallas and Sarah Suter "Sally" Blair, on 2 March 1848 in Bedford Co., Virginia. Dallas has somewhat different names for the children. Where varying from our list: Frank Smith, Winifred Lou, John Fulton, Thomas Coggins (not same as Tho Souter), and Cora Ella (rather than Emma).4,5,2 
Census1850*Mary and James appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Southern Dist., Pittsylvania Co., Virginia, enumerated 28 August 1850, as 33 yo farmer James J & 20 yo Mary Dallas. Their son Thomas Souter was listed as living with them, as well as James's 52 yo mother Sarah Dallas. Next door above are Drury & Chloe Blair. Two doors below is Ann S. Blair household.6 
Census1860Mary and James appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Northern Div., Rockingham Co., North Carolina, enumerated 18 June 1860, as 41 yo James J & 28 yo Mary D Dallas. Their children Thomas Souter, John Fulton, William Wellington and Sallie Ann were listed as living with them. This census is very faint. Invert colors help in reading it.7

Their children Thomas Souter, John Fulton, William Wellington, Sallie Ann, Cora Emma, Andrew Houston, Henrietta Jane and Francis Smith "Frank" were listed as living with them.8

Marriage*She married Robert W. H. Dallas, son of Meredith Dallas and Sarah Suter "Sally" Blair, on 6 September 1876 in Williamsburg Twp., Rockingham Co., North Carolina. Apparently at least 2nd marriage for Elizabeth. Her surname was Lewis according to Dallas.4,1,2

BioNote*Biography Note: From Nancy's Find A Grave entry:
Billy Blair owned Stony Mill in Pittsylvania Co, VA. After Nancy and Billy married, her father Stokeley Carter bought the mill from Billy Blair (Pittsylvania Co., Deed Book 60, p. 171), and Nannie and Billy headed to Augusta, GA.
After Billy died, Nannie stayed in Augusta for a short while before moving with her children back to the Stony Mill Community in Pittsylvania County.
Nannie bought Stony Mill from her sister, and ran the mill until her death. After her death, her son Charles J. Blair owned and operated Stony Mill for about 20 more years.
Nannie died in Pittsylvania Co, VA. According to her obituary, she was returned to Augusta to be buried beside her husband.
Nancy is named for her grandmother Nancy Hutchings who married Thomas Carter in 1806. Nancy Hutchings Carter was the daughter of Moses Hutchings. Nancy died before her father wrote his will in Jan 1835. In his will, he referred to his deceased daughter Nancy Carter, wife of Thomas Carter. Her grave has not been located.
After her death, her husband Thomas moved to Missouri with most of their children. Sons James and Stokeley stayed in Pittsylvania Co., VA.2

The HOH Elizh may be the father of George and Elizh S. This census is unreadable and I've relied on HQO's transcription for details.9

Death*Mary died circa 18 January 1886 in Pittsylvania Co., Virginia. Find A Grave says 12 Jan but there's no headstone photo so no way to confirm; her VA death record says 18 Jan.11,1

Marriage*He married Permelia Jane "Jennie" Blair, daughter of Col. Drury Blair and Chloe Tice "Eliza" Coleman, on 29 November 1860 in Pittsylvania Co., Virginia.4 
Census1870*Joseph and Permelia appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Subdivision north of Dan River, Pittsylvania Co., Virginia, enumerated 29 June 1870, as 33 yo farmer Joseph D & 25 yo Permelia J Reynolds. Their children Charles James, Annie L. and Sallie were listed as living with them.5

Birth*Louvenia was born between 1842 and 1843 in Halifax Co., Virginia, d/o Herbert & Frances Moore. Ancestry's Carter tree gives her names as Chase T Moore.3,4 
Marriage*She married Rev. Drury Addison Blair, son of Col. Drury Blair and Chloe Tice "Eliza" Coleman, on 1 April 1863 in Halifax, Halifax Co., Virginia. VA Marriages says 30 March 1868 which is clearly not possible. FSTrees (ID LHR6-JKX) claims 01 April 1863 without citation. The March date likely the license/bond date with a mis-read of the year, the latter the marriage date.5,6,2 
Marr-Bond*Louvenia Frances Moore and John B. Traynham posted a marriage bond on 22 October 1867 at Halifax, Halifax Co., Virginia.7 
Census1870*Louvenia and John appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Mount Carmel Twp., Halifax Co., Virginia, enumerated circa 25 September 1870, as 28 yo farmer John B & 27 yo Levonia Traynham.
