Death*	Mary died on 6 June 1918 at age 80.1

Marriage*	He married Edna Frances Ellen Lee on 29 March 1887 in New Castle Co., Delaware. One record says 29 May, two say 29 March. Married 13 yrs w/ 2 and 2 in the 1900 census. My preliminary research suggests their children were Ethel May and Lillian Groves. Ethel is often shown as Effel.5,2,1

Birth*	Horace, son of George Wesley Groves and Mary J. Drennon, was born on 17 September 1862. King & FSTrees say his middle name is Banton but I find that name in no records. His middle name is Benson in son Carl's birth record.4,5

Census1900	Horace appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Wilmington Ward 7, New Castle Co., Delaware, as 35 yo son-in-law Harris B Groves in the household of Mary Parry; as 58 yo widow Mary Parry.11
Census1920*	Horace appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Pocopson Twp., Chester Co., Pennsylvania, as 62 yo widower father Horace Groves in the household of his 20 yo son Harold Groves. Harold's 20 yo wife Ethel and 0.9 yo son Harold Jr were also in the home.12
Death*	Horace died after 9 April 1931. On 09 Apr 1931 Horace transferred title to his son Harold property on Gilpin Avenue, Wilmington.13
